If you are a parent trying to help a school leaver get a job, earn some money and perhaps even leave home, the best advice you can give them is "Get VET".

Simply put, VET is job related training. This means VET trained job seekers are job ready. And job ready is exactly what employers look for in job applicants.

VET is job ready training designed for people whose focus is on getting the skills they require, to get the job they want, and the lifestyle it brings, as soon as possible.

It can be done at school, at work, or by a combination of both.

It can be used to get a first job or to change from one career path to another. Multiple pathways are available at all levels of VET qualification and VET qualifications are recognised Australia wide.
